Blue Rose Maxi Skirt with Pockets (C, D Sizes Only)

Very soft material but doesn't feel flimsy, and the color is gorgeous and vibrant. I was a bit worried the elastic waistband would cut in but I don't notice it at all (B size for 42" waist, 48" at the widest if I wear it lower)

Easily one of the best pieces of clothing I've purchased. Silky but strong fabric with pockets! POCKETS! I can even carry my Nintendo Switch in it. And it's beyond gorgeous. I get compliments all the time.

That being said, I'm a Size B 5'3" and the skirt drags on the ground unless I wear 2inch wedges. That's an easy fix for a tailor, but I thought I'd note this for other short folks are as enamored with this skirt as I am.

First, I have to say that this purchase was an impulse buy from the preorder run many moons ago. (I can't remember exactly when but the blue maxi was new at the time.) I love the small rose grid behind the larger rose details and it is what made my decision to purchase the maxi instead of the midi. I have since made this a statement piece in my wardrobe, wearing for several special events since I received it. Pockets are also super deep, making it so I don't HAVE to carry a big clunky purse if I don't have to.

Now, in regards to the milk silk, I was surprised at how smooth and silky it was! The stretch is also a bonus because I'm very picky about how my circle skirts fit and this one was delightfully fitted without cutting me off at the waist. I wash my skirts in the washing machine with like colors and either lay them flat to dry or hang them on a skirt hanger to let it hang dry. I have not even attempted to put them in the dryer since most circle skirts I have had in the past do better when I hang dry/line dry them.
